1. Prohibited content
Consistent with Rule 3 of the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you must not host, display or link to content that:
- Belongs to someone else and you have no right to use, or infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right, including counterfeit or replica goods.
- Is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy, harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, or encourages money laundering or gambling.
- Is harmful to children, threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order.
- Deceives or misleads about the origin of a message, or knowingly communicates misinformation, or impersonates another person or brand.
- Contains software viruses or code designed to interrupt, destroy or limit any computer resource.
- Promotes products that are illegal to sell in India, including prohibited drugs, weapons, wildlife products, and items banned by marketplaces.
- Makes false claims about price, discounts, health benefits or certifications, or fake reviews.
2. Prohibited behaviour
- Using catalogue links for phishing, malware, or redirecting shoppers anywhere other than genuine product pages.
- Scraping, crawling or bulk-downloading the Service or other sellers' catalogues without permission.
- Probing, attacking or overloading our systems, bypassing rate limits or plan limits, or sharing accounts to evade them.
- Creating accounts in bulk, squatting on catalogue names, or reselling the Service without our written agreement.
- Sending spam that advertises your Selectvia link.
3. Enforcement
We may remove content, disable catalogues, or suspend or terminate accounts that break this policy, and report illegal activity to authorities. Where we act on a court order or government notice we will remove or disable access within the time required by law. If you believe we've acted in error, contact our Grievance Officer.
4. Reporting a violation
To report content or a catalogue that breaks this policy, or to submit an intellectual-property complaint (see our Intellectual Property & Takedown Policy), email grievance@selectvia.com with the link and details. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
